allergy/immunology overlap
A focus of course load involves the heavy overlap between allergic disorders and pulmonary disease. Given two faculty are board certified in Allergy & Immunology, the approach to coursework is incorporated into the lecture schedule.
Our pulmonary fellows will be exposed to skin testing, allergic bronchoprovocation challenge testing, patch testing and much more. In addition, our large immunodeficiency population serves as a reference point to our Immunology lecture series.
