Program Benefits

​

• Inpatient rotations follow a one week on call followed by two weeks off model for the duration of the three year program 

• All Inpatient rotations are scheduled at Miller Children’s Hospital however rotations at outside hospitals can be arranged

• Our Fellows are the primary consulting service for patients admitted with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD)

• Our fellows are supported by the University of California Resident/Fellow Union

• Our fellowship program is affiliated with the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center  

• Our Fellows have the opportunity to work with attendings with well rounded and prestigious academic and clinical backgrounds such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Stanford. 

• Many of our alumni residents stay on and become attendings themselves
